Yung6ix Inks Multi-Millionaire Naira Deal Between Kash Kamp & Trick Billionaire Musiq

Yung6ix

Picking Things’ rapper and King of the South ‘Yung6ix’ floated his imprint ”Kash Kamp” a few months back, the camp houses Percy (whom was featured on Yung6ix’s most recent single ‘First Class’) as well as talented producer Otee Beatz. Yung6ix’s camp welcomed a hand offered from ‘Trick Billionaire Musiq” for both parties to partner with the end-result of taking Yung6ix and his brand out of Africa and sharing his brilliance with the rest of the world. The mouth-watery deal is rumored to be worth about $250,000 with a sign-up fee of $100,000 inclusive and will see the young rapper release his long awaited album ’6′O Clock’ under “Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire Musiq (KKTBM)“; and fans should expect new stellar materials from Onome Onokokwomo in the near future. A rep from KKTBM confirmed this report saying that the music community should expect a wind-whirl from Yung6ix because of the blueprint set and the drive and hunger he has seen in the rapper and also revealed that Onome’s debut album will hit stores in months. More pictures from the signing after the jump!

Wizkid Lost N12m Star Trek Performance Fee

While it is no longer news, that Star Boy, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, will not be headlining this year’s edition of the annual Nigerian Breweries PLC sponsored musical concert roadshow, Star Trek, the main reason why the artiste was dropped has been revealed. Inside sources privy to how the recruitment and negotiation of fee for  artistes for the concert are conducted said that the inability of the organizers and WizKid’s managers to agree on performance fee led to the musician’s absence from the oldest musical concert in the country. The source said that WizKid was offered N3 million per show and allotted four shows which would have seen him pocket a grand sum of N12 million but his managers allegedly turned it down on the grounds that it was too small for the high-flying artiste. The original aim of turning the offer down according to our source, “was to force the organizers to increase the amount to N5 million per show. However, the marketing strategy backfired as Nigerian Breweries’ management called the bluff of the musician and his managers and replaced him with two other musicians for less the amount offered WizKid.” It was further revealed that when it dawned on WizKid that the organizers were not ready to add a dime to the N3 million offered him per show, he ran back to the Iganmu, the headquarters of the Lagos-based aBanky W. On getting there, WizKid was told that he had been replaced by two other artistes and should try his luck next year.
